Our lives are full with family, work, social commitments, and more. Most of us rely on smartphones and other digital devices to help us manage our daily responsibilities and to stay connected. In 2021, Innovura Private Limited began exploring ways that we could help people take advantage of emerging technologies to experience the Bible in ways that would lead to life change. That led us to create YoFaith, a mobile app.

We recognize the value of helping people explore faith in a community with the shared purpose of growing their relationship with God in a safe and secure manner. YoFaith is far more than just an electronic reader that allows you to read the Bible on your phone. Every product and service that we provide, we craft with great care and intentionality, designing each feature to help you pursue a deeper relationship with God, and to explore your questions of faith in a safe space, all within the context of a trusted community of your choice. You choose what you access. You choose what you share. You choose who you share information with. Your data is yours. YoFaith does not sell your information, nor will we share it with others without your consent. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully because it discusses how we will collect, use, share, and process your personal information.
We at YoFaith, a mobile application, which is wholly-owned by Innovura Private Limited. respect your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Notice applies to personal customer information obtained by the Innovura, including through web sites, mobile sites, applications, emails, and widgets (collectively, the “Services”). The Notice describes the types of personal information we obtain about customers, how we use the information and with whom we share it. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information and how you can contact us about our privacy practices. The Services are for a general audience, are not targeted to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years of age. By accessing YoFaith, you agree to this Privacy Policy and its terms and consent to having your data transferred to and processed in Zimbabwe and possibly other countries. Your use of YoFaith is also governed by our Terms of Use. Please read those terms carefully as well. Here’s a summary of what you can expect to find in our Privacy Policy, which covers all YoFaith-branded products and services:
This Privacy Policy outlines the types of data we collect from your interaction with YoFaith, as well as how we process that information to enhance your YoFaith experience. When you create a YoFaith account or use any one of our applications or sites, the information we collect is for the purpose of offering a more personalized experience.

We take the privacy of the information you provide and that we collect seriously and we implement security safeguards designed to protect your data as discussed below. The information we collect depends on the services and functionality you request. You may decline to submit personal information to us; however, that may prohibit us from having the ability to provide you with certain services or functionality. The personal information we collect and the purpose for which we use that information are described below.

You need to sign up for a Membership account to use YoFaith. However, the bible app is accessible even without a subscription. Membership allows us to tailor YoFaith to be a more personalized experience. To create a YoFaith Membership account, we require that you provide a first name, last name, a mobile phone number and a valid email address. We will use this information to associate you with your specific YoFaith Member account. After you have created a YoFaith Member account, you may also choose to provide your gender, age, website, description of your location, a brief biography, a profile picture, and other information such as User Contributions (defined below). All of these, if provided, will be associated with your account until you delete your account or make a request that the information be deleted as described below. Beyond the personal information collected to create a Member account, you have choices about what additional information you provide to us. We collect personal data from you when you provide, post, or upload it to YoFaith. You do not have to provide this information; however, if you do not, it may limit our ability to personalize YoFaith and your ability to use YoFaith to its fullest extent. Specific YoFaith functionality for which you may provide and we may process your information is discussed below.
YoFaith allows users to publish, distribute, and display certain content (we refer to that as “posted” and the content as “posts”). Posts may be made on public areas of YoFaith, websites, and social media accounts you access through YoFaith, or transmitted to other users of YoFaith or third parties you choose to connect with on YoFaith or other platforms or services. For example, this would include commenting on a friend’s post or creating and sharing a Verse Image. YoFaith also allows you to create certain content to be maintained in your account, such as a Note or Bookmark of a Bible verse, some of which you can also post to provide to others. We will call all of the content created by you, whether or not posted, “User Contributions.” Your User Contributions are processed by us to facilitate your ability to create, use, store, and distribute the User Contribution as you choose. We will associate your User Contributions with your account as long as you opt not to delete them. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in a public manner, whether through collaborative postings, social media, message boards, or other public online forums, this information may be collected and used by others. User Contributions are posted and transmitted at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of other Users or third parties with whom you choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your shared User Contributions will not be viewed by or used in an unauthorized manner, nor do we accept any liability associated with your User Contributions.
When you make a subscription payment through YoFaith or a third-party website linked to YoFaith, then and only then will you be prompted and required to provide credit card, bank account, and other payment information necessary to process the transaction. We will collect the designation for your donation, if you provide one, as well as personal information such as your name, address, country, phone number, and/or email address to ensure that your donation is used for the purpose you request and to provide you with an “Annual Giving Statement” that itemizes your donation(s) for tax purposes or your personal use. We will not store or otherwise process financial information provided to us online for the purposes of donating. As of the date of this Policy, we use Stripe or PayPal to process your online donation payments. For information on how these third parties process your information, please refer to their privacy policies, which may be found here: https://stripe.com/privacyhttps://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
We collect information about you when you send, receive, or engage with messages from us, including when you submit personal information or requests by emailing  support@faithmobile.co.zw or through the website faithmobile.co.zw. We retain and use those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve YoFaith and our services. If you are a member, we will keep your communications to us in association with your account for as long as your Membership is active.
By agreeing to our Privacy Policy, you agree to the use of cookies and similar technologies (for example, web beacons, pixels, tags, and device identifiers, which we collectively refer to as “cookies”) as described in this policy. If you use YoFaith without changing your browser or device settings to disable cookies, we’ll assume that you consent to receive all cookies provided through YoFaith.
We also may obtain certain information through our Services by automated means, such as cookies (including HTTP, HTML5 and Flash cookies), web beacons, web server logs, JavaScript and similar technologies, including technologies designed to obtain information regarding your use of our Services. The information we obtain in this manner may include IP address, mobile device advertising ID, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on our Services, and dates and times you access or use the Services. In connection with our mobile apps, we also may obtain your phone number and details about your mobile carrier. A “cookie” is a file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A “web beacon” also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server. Through these automated collection methods, we obtain “clickstream data,” which is a log of the links and other content on which a visitor clicks while browsing a website. As the visitor clicks through the website, a record of the action may be collected and stored. We also may use similar automated means to obtain and store information regarding your actions while using our mobile apps. We use cookies to recognize you and/or your device(s) on, off, and across the different applications of YoFaith. Cookies help to facilitate the best possible user experience of YoFaith as they allow us to recognize you and maintain your user preferences from session to session, help us keep your account safe, and generally improve the functionality of the products and services offered through YoFaith. They also help us ensure that Member information is used in association with the correct Member account. We use cookies to collect details of your use of YoFaith (including traffic data, IP location data, logs, browser type, browser language, the functionality requested, and the timing of your requests), and other communication data and the resources that you access, use, and create on or through YoFaith. We use this information to provide a tailored YoFaith experience for you and to communicate with you more effectively. The information is also collected to determine the aggregate number of unique devices using YoFaith and/or parts of YoFaith, track total usage, analyze usage data, and improve YoFaith functionality for all Users. We may combine this information to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our service. We may link certain data elements obtained through automated means, such as your browser or device information, with other information we have obtained about you to let us know, for example, whether you have opened an email we sent to you, what search queries you may have run and what advertisements you may have seen on our Services or on third-party websites and apps. Your browser may tell you how to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies or how to restrict or disable certain types of cookies. You also may be able to delete your Flash cookies or adjust your Flash cookie settings by visiting the Adobe Flash Website Storage Settings Panel and Global Storage Settings Panel. Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to use all of the features of our Services. Your device settings also may allow you to prohibit mobile app platforms (such as Apple and Google) from sharing certain information obtained by automated means with us through our apps or other app developers. In addition, if you register with us through or connect your account with us to a third-party social media network (such as Facebook, Google, or Twitter), we may obtain certain information about you from the relevant social media network, such as your user ID and/or user name associated with that social media network, the information contained in your public profile on the social media network and friends lists. The specific information we obtain depends on your privacy settings on the applicable social media network. The providers of third-party apps, tools, widgets and plug-ins on our Services, such as social media sharing tools, also may use automated means to collect information regarding your interactions with these features. This information is collected directly by the providers of those features and is subject to the privacy policies or notices of those providers. The Company is not responsible for those providers’ information practices. We generally maintain the data we collect from cookies for 40 days but may save it for a longer period where necessary such as when required by law or for technical reasons. Although most internet browsers accept cookies by default, you can control cookies through your browser settings and similar tools or refuse cookies altogether. If you refuse to accept cookies, you may be unable to access certain parts of YoFaith, you will prohibit us from delivering the full capability of YoFaith, and you may prevent the use of certain features and services that require these technologies. Innovura cannot regulate other sites, content, or applications linked or provided from within YoFaith or our various other websites and services that are provided by third parties, including your device manufacturer, and your mobile service provider. These third parties may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data, or solicit personal information from you. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and other online services. These third parties may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
We advertise YoFaith on third party sites such as Facebook and Google and use third-party software development kits (“SDKs”) to attribute a download of YoFaith to the advertisement placed on the third-party site. We do not allow our SDK service providers to sell your personal information to third parties or use your personal information to solicit the sale of third-party goods or services. We may provide these third parties with aggregate, de-identified information concerning ads placed on their sites and YoFaith downloads that result from those ads.
When you access or leave YoFaith websites, we receive the URL of both the site you came from and the one you go to next. We also get information about your proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device identifier and features, and/or your ISP or mobile carrier when you use YoFaith. We also receive data from your devices and networks, including your IP address. We use the IP addresses we collect from our users to process them with public latitude and longitude information related to your Internet Service Provider or mobile service provider in order to determine, and in some instances depict in an aggregate and de-identified manner, the approximate geographic region for each instance of YoFaith use. This latitude and longitude information is stored by us for approximately seven days for troubleshooting and diagnostic purposes, but is never associated with any information about you or that would identify you personally. We also collect and use the wireless (or “WiFi”) permissions of your mobile device to determine if you are connected to a WiFi or cellular network. This information is used to provide an optimized user experience by providing higher resolution media to a user who is on a high-speed WiFi connection rather than a cellular network. WiFi permissions are also used for casting content with Chromecast and similar devices. This information is not stored or shared by YoFaith.
We use data that we collect about you and that you provide as well as the inferences we make from that information as follows:
  • To provide, support, and personalize YoFaith and the YoFaith functionality you request;
  • To create, maintain, customize, and secure your YoFaith account, if any;
  • To process your requests and respond to your inquiries;

  • To maintain the safety, security, and integrity of YoFaith and the infrastructure that facilitates use of YoFaith;
  • For development and internal analysis;
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it;
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights, including those under this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use;
  • As described in this Privacy Policy;
  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information; and
  • For any other purpose with your consent.

  • Operate, evaluate and improve our business (including developing, enhancing, analyzing and improving our Services; managing our communications; performing data analytics; and performing accounting, auditing and other internal functions);
  • Protect against, identify and prevent fraud and other unlawful activity, claims and other liabilities; and
  • Comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards, contractual obligations and our policies.
We use the personal information you provide to create and maintain your Membership account. We also use this information to authorize and authenticate your access to your account. We store this information and information pertaining to your use of YoFaith (including User Contributions) in connection with your Membership account for so long as you are a Member. For example, your first and last name and email address will be stored and used by us in connection with your account name or auto-generated account ID to authenticate you as the correct user of your account. We will also store your User Contributions in association with your Member account to allow you to access, re-access, post, and otherwise utilize your User Contributions as you choose.
YoFaith will allow you to communicate and connect with other YoFaith users to share Bible verses, User Contributions, and other content. It is your choice whether to communicate or connect with another member and to share your information or User Contributions. To facilitate your connections with other YoFaith Members, you will be given the choice of whether to share with us the contact information stored on your device. You do not have to share this information to use YoFaith or to connect with any particular Member. If you decide to share this information with us, it will only be used to try and associate your contacts with other YoFaith Members to create potential YoFaith connections and will only be stored by us for so long as you have a YoFaith Member account. When you grant access to your contacts on your device for the purpose of friend suggestions, notification of when a contact joins, or sending an invite to YoFaith, that information is stored on our servers in a hashed format for the purpose of offering you this functionality.
Some YoFaith features use your precise location, if you choose to share it, to provide or suggest content and information, like helping you to check-in to an event or suggesting content from organizations nearby. We will call these “location-based features”. To use or access location-based features, you will be provided the option to share your precise location with us and, if you choose to do so, we will use that information solely to provide location-based features, personalize your experience with YoFaith and internally analyze and develop our products and services. After you first grant us this permission, we will assume we have your consent to process your location in this way until you revoke or limit your permission. You may choose to revoke or limit your permissions for location sharing through the settings of your device. If you choose not to share your precise location, some location-related features may still allow for limited functionality (for example, you may still manually search for events around you), but other such features may not be accessible to you. You will still be able to access and use non-location dependent features of YoFaith. We share your specific location only with your consent. If you choose to make certain location-related information viewable to your friends or the public, you give explicit consent for us to share that information with the audience you specify. You may change this permission at any time in your app settings.
We collect the manner in which you use YoFaith and its content, such as your prayer requests, the Bible chapters and Bible plans that you access, and the language in which you choose to utilize that content. We also collect and store the User Contributions you create, such as bookmarks, highlights, and notes. We process this information to allow you to access and use content you create or wish to access through each YoFaith session. You will have the choice of whether to download certain YoFaith content and User Contributions to your device. You will have the choice of whether to allow YoFaith access to your device’s storage to add and modify this downloaded content. Access to the storage of your device is only used by YoFaith for downloading this requested content to your device. It is your choice whether to create, access, or store YoFaith information and content. If you do, we will store it in association with your Membership account. We may use information about your use of YoFaith and the inferences we make from that use to provide recommendations to you of other YoFaith or Innovura content. For example, based upon a Bible Plan you complete, we may suggest additional Bible Plans to you. You may opt out of receiving these recommendations by email, as discussed below.
We communicate with you through push notification, email, or in-app messages. If we communicate to you with email, you may generally unsubscribe to these messages via the unsubscribe link in the emails providing these messages. You can also tailor your notification settings at any time within the settings menu of the YoFaith App. Recommendations and Other Communications We use the data we have about you and inferences we make from that data to recommend certain content and functionality as well as additional products and services offered through YoFaith. We may combine the information you provide us with information we collect through other Innovura services and products and the inferences we make from the same for our internal development to improve the overall quality of all services and products provided by Innovura. We may also make recommendations to you for other Innovura services and products based on the information you provide and we infer. We may also use the data we have about you and inferences we make from that data to contact you regarding other opportunities to engage with Innovura. We may contact you through push notification, email, telephone or in-app messages to discuss these recommendations and opportunities, how to use YoFaith, and other news messages. Polls and Surveys Polls and surveys are sometimes conducted by us through YoFaith. You are not obligated to respond to polls or surveys, and you have choices about the information you provide. Because the purpose of these polls and surveys may vary, we will provide details related to the disclosure and use of personal information in relation to any poll or survey prior to you providing any information. Security, Legal and Technical Issues We may use your information to contact you about account security, legal, and other service-related issues. Please be aware that you cannot opt-out of receiving such messages from us. We may use your personal information to investigate, respond to and resolve legal, security, and technical issues and complaints, including, as necessary, security purposes or possible fraud, violations of law or our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, or attempts to harm; however, you agree that we have no obligation to prevent or monitor for any of the foregoing. Notice We may use your personal information to provide notice regarding a security incident or data breach, by: (i) sending a message to the email address you provide (as applicable); (ii) posting to a publicly facing page of YoFaith or through an in-app message; (iii) through major statewide media; and/or (iv) telephonic means, including calls and/or text messages, even if sent via automated means including automated dialers. Standard text and data messaging rates may apply from your carrier. Notices sent by email will be effective when we send the email, notices we provide by posting will be effective upon posting and by in-app messaging when the message is made, and notices we provide through telephonic means will be effective when transmitted or dialed. You consent to receiving electronic communications from Innovura relating to YoFaith and your use and access of the services provided through YoFaith. It is your responsibility to keep your email address and any other contact information you provide to us current so that we may provide these communications to you.
We internally analyze the personal data available to us and the use of YoFaith content, as well as the inferences we make from that data, to provide and update YoFaith, communicate with you and process information as discussed in this Policy, and for internal analytics such as to observe social, economic, and geographic trends as they pertain to YoFaith content. In some cases, we work with trusted third parties to perform this research, under controls that are designed to protect your privacy, as discussed below. We may disclose use of YoFaith content in an aggregated manner with de-identified and anonymized information that does not disclose any particular user or that user’s personally-identifying information. For example, we may use your data to generate statistics about overall usage of YoFaith worldwide or in specific geographic regions or at specific events or locations. We also use de-identified and aggregate user data to market YoFaith, including communications that promote YoFaith Membership and network growth, such as celebrating the total number of YoFaith installs. When you see stats, we share publicly such as global YoFaith engagement, we make sure to analyze and publish the data in an aggregated form, protecting your privacy and keeping your identity and personal information confidential. We use data, including user provided personal information, aggregations of user data, data collected through the use of YoFaith, public feedback, and information inferred from this data to conduct internal research and development in order to provide a better overall YoFaith experience, measure the performance of YoFaith, and increase the use of YoFaith and its features. This is done by making changes to YoFaith that are generally available, as well as sending users messages through YoFaith suggesting YoFaith functionality and content.

By downloading and using YoFaith, we do not assume that you are of any particular religious affiliation or are expressing to us any particular religious belief; we merely assume that you are interested in the content we provide. We do not require that users provide information about such beliefs or provide any other sensitive data such as race, ethnicity, philosophical beliefs, or physical or mental health to use YoFaith or create or maintain a YoFaith Member account. Some features available through YoFaith utilize personal information that may reflect your religious or philosophical beliefs. Before we collect or process this information for such features, we will obtain your explicit consent. In addition to these features, you have control over the content of certain things you create, share, and store through YoFaith, and if you provide us with sensitive information with any content you create, share, and store, we will assume we have your consent to process that information. We may need to share your sensitive personal information, with third-party service providers that enable us to provide certain app features. We will process the sensitive information we collect and inferences we make about the same in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for the purpose of allowing and facilitating your use of those specific app features, to personalize your user experience, to suggest other content and services, and internally to improve our services. If you choose to provide any sensitive information to us, we may use that information with other non-sensitive information you provide to create a more personalized YoFaith experience for you and to perform the services and actions you request, such as sharing or storing content you create. In any event, Innovura will only process sensitive data you provide to us for Innovura’s legitimate activities on your behalf and solely in accordance with the terms of this policy and any additional requests you make about the information. We will also maintain your information subject to appropriate safeguards discussed in this policy and otherwise provided by Innovura. You have the right to withdraw your consent to our collection and processing of your sensitive personal information by turning off and ceasing to use YoFaith features that use this information or by contacting us via email support@faithmobile.co.zw however, withdrawing your consent may hinder our ability to provide certain functionality.

On our sites, apps and/or emails we and our third-party service providers may obtain information about your activities to provide you with advertising about products and services tailored to your individual interests. We and our third-party service providers also may obtain information for this purpose from third-party websites and apps. This section of our Privacy Notice provides details and explains how to exercise your choices.

We engage third-party advertising networks to help us target our messaging to visitors through interest-based and contextual means. Through these ad networks, we can track your online activities over time and across third-party websites and apps by obtaining information through automated means, as described above. The networks use this information to show you advertisements on our Services or other third-party websites and apps that may be tailored to your individual interests. The information our ad networks may obtain on our behalf includes data about your visits to websites and use of apps that serve our advertisements, such as the pages or ads you view and the actions you take on those websites or apps. This data collection takes place both on our sites, apps and emails and on third-party websites and apps that participate in these ad networks. This process also helps us track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

Our ability to provide different versions of the Bible in different languages is a result of and subject to agreements among us and certain Bible societies and publishers, which we’ll call “YoFaith Bible Providers.” The license agreements we have with some YoFaith Bible Providers only allow us to provide YoFaith users the ability to download certain Bible texts for offline use if we provide YoFaith Bible Providers with the User’s name, email address, and country for future communication. If this is the case with a text you are seeking to download for offline use, we will;

  1. only share this information with the YoFaith Bible Provider for the offline version you request;
  2. do so on a confidential basis and only if the YoFaith Bible Provider agrees to keep the information, we share about you confidential; and
  3. provide an additional prompt to you as a reminder of these terms, which you must agree to at that time in order to continue with your download. If you do not agree to this additional prompt, you may continue to use the online version of the text. No other personal information of yours will be shared with any YoFaith Bible Providers and no information will be shared until you grant approval to our prompt, which will then give you access to download that offline version. Your interactions with any YoFaith Bible Provider are solely among you and that YoFaith Bible Provider.

It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process. We attempt to notify Users about legal demands for their personal data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, in our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague, or lack proper authority, but we do not promise to challenge every demand. We may also disclose your information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to;

  1. investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies;
  2. enforce our agreements with you;
  3. investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations;
  4. protect the security or integrity of YoFaith; or
  5. exercise or protect the rights and safety of Innovura, Users, our personnel, or others. We also reserve the right to confidentially disclose personal information we have about you in connection with a potential or actual merger or acquisition such as the sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

For personal data that we have about you, you may request the following:

Deletion: You may ask us to erase or delete all or some of your personal data. Please note that doing so may limit your ability to use certain functionality of YoFaith. Please note that an email address is required to have a Member account to ensure we can properly authenticate potential users of that account.

  • Correction/Modification: You may edit some of your personal data through your account or ask us to change, update, or fix your data in certain cases, including if it is inaccurate.
  • Object to, or Limit or Restrict, Use of Data: you can ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data or to limit our use of it.
  • Right to Access and/or Take Your Data: you can ask us for a copy of or disclosure concerning your personal data you provided to us.

Certain laws may provide the right to make these and additional requests concerning your personal information. If you have provided us with personal information and wish to make such a request under a specific region’s law, include the phrase “[Your City/State/Province/Country] Privacy Request” in the subject line of your request and send your request via email to support@faithmobile.co.zw.

We ask that individuals making requests identify themselves with at least their name, address, and email address and identify the information requested to be accessed, corrected, or removed before we process the request. We may seek additional information to verify a requestor’s identity. We may also decline to process requests if we cannot verify the requestor’s identity or if we believe the request will jeopardize the privacy of others, violate any law or legal requirement, would cause the information to be incorrect, or for a similar legitimate purpose.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under applicable law. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Some information you have created, received, or used in YoFaith may not be available in a usable form outside of YoFaith. As a result, when you request a copy of your personal information, we will be able to provide personal information you have provided to us, such as your name, address, phone number and the like; however, we may be unable to provide you with content and User Contributions that utilize YoFaith functionality.

You can delete your YoFaith account at any time using the settings function in YoFaith; however, when you delete your account, we will delete the information associated with your account such as Notes, Bookmarks and other User Contributions you have created, received or shared. If you do not want to delete your account or this information, but want to temporarily stop using YoFaith, you may cease using the YoFaith application and we will maintain your account and the information associated with your account until you resume use or delete your account, whichever comes first.

If you choose to delete your account or ask that we modify or delete personal information, we will delete and purge personal information we have stored about you in a way that is electronically irreversible, however, we may retain your personal data if we have a legal right or obligation to maintain the information or to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our rights, or fulfill any other requests from you (for example, to opt-out of further messages or for a copy of your data). Otherwise, if you request that we delete your account, we will delete your account and all the information we have that is associated with your account, except for aggregated statistics based on de-identified information and inferences we have made (for example, the fact that you downloaded YoFaith, without identifying you or maintaining personal information associated with that account).

Our deletion of your information and account will generally take no more than fourteen days from your request; however, cached information may take up to thirty days to delete. Please note that we have no control of information you have shared with others through YoFaith after you close your account or asked to delete information or attempted to delete your account yourself. Your information and content you have shared may continue to be displayed in the services of others (for example, search engine results) until they refresh their cache.

We implement security safeguards designed to protect your data. These include using encryption for your data while it is being transmitted between your device or browser and our servers and while it is at rest. Data provided to us through YoFaith is also stored in an ISO 27017-certified infrastructure management system, meaning it has been audited and found in compliance with the requirements of the management system standards ISO 27017, an internationally recognized code of practice for information security controls for cloud services.

However, given the nature of communications and information technology, and that the use of the internet has inherent risks, although we regularly monitor for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, we cannot warrant or guarantee that information provided to us through YoFaith or stored in our systems or otherwise will be absolutely free from unauthorized intrusion by others, nor can we warrant or guarantee that such data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

We do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 16 without the consent of the parent or legal guardian of that minor.

A parent or guardian may consent to the use of their YoFaith account by a minor on that parent or guardian’s primary profile. Should you allow your minor child to use your account (through your profile), you shall be solely responsible for providing supervision of the minor’s use of YoFaith and assume full responsibility for the interpretation and use of any information or suggestions provided through YoFaith.

Where you allow your child to access your account, we will assume you consent to our processing of that information in accordance with this policy and other privacy notices and terms we may provide to you from time to time. If you allow your minor child to use YoFaith, we ask that you discuss the risks of sharing personal information on the Internet with your children and require that they refrain from communicating with any third parties or share any personal information with YoFaith or YoFaith users. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at support@faithmobile.co.zw.

We will only collect and process personal data about you where we have lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent (where you have given consent), contract, and other legitimate interests. Such legitimate interests include protection to you, us, other Members, and third parties; to comply with applicable law; to enable and administer our business; to manage corporate transactions; to generally understand and improve our internal processes and user relationships; and to enable us and other users of YoFaith to connect with you to exchange information, provided that the foregoing adequately protects your rights and freedoms.

Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you may withdraw or decline your consent and where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object. If you have any questions about the lawful bases upon which we collect and use your personal data, please contact us at support@faithmobile.co.zw.

Unless you delete it using YoFaith, we generally retain and process information and User Contributions associated with your account and use it to facilitate YoFaith functionality until your account is deleted.

Please keep in mind that YoFaith may contain links to other websites or apps. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy statements and policies of those other websites you choose to link to or from YoFaith, so that you can understand how those websites collect, use, and store your information. We are not responsible for the privacy statements, policies, or content of other websites or apps, including websites you link to or from YoFaith. Websites containing co-branding (referencing our name and a third party’s name) contain content delivered by the third party and not us.

If you choose to link YoFaith with other websites, applications, and services or profiles you have with third party applications, you will provide the personal data stored on those applications to Innovura. For example, you may start a new YoFaith Membership account by linking your Facebook account to YoFaith, providing personal information you have opted to share through Facebook to Innovura. You may revoke the link with such accounts and third-party applications by modifying your settings with those applications.

YoFaith is based out of Harare within the country of Zimbabwe and your use of YoFaith and this Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. If you are using YoFaith from outside this country, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Zimbabwe or any other country our third party partners are located or where our servers are located and our central database is operated. We process data both inside and outside of Zimbabwe and rely on contractual commitments between us and companies transferring personal data that require the protection and security of such data. The data protection and other laws of Zimbabwe, and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using YoFaith, you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it with, as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. Innovura is consistently seeking new and improved ways to offer YoFaith and increase engagement. As we improve YoFaith, this may mean the collection of new data or new ways to use data. Because YoFaith is dynamic, and we continuously seek to offer new features, we may require changes in our collection or processing of information. If we collect materially different personal data or materially change how we use your data, we will update this Privacy Policy.

We will post any changes to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we process our users’ personal information, we will provide a notice that the Privacy Policy has been updated. The date the Privacy Policy was last modified is identified at the beginning of the Policy. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
